Orchard Fruit Cottage Cheese Bowl

Start your day right with this sweet and creamy combination of cottage cheese, apple and pear. A speedy and nutritious breakfast that contains protein and fibre. It makes a delicious snack, too!

Ingredients

1 1 Apples
1 1 Pears
2 tbsp30 mLPure Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp2 mLGround Cinnamon
1 cup250 mLNordica Cottage Cheese
2 tbsp30 mLPecans, toasted and chopped

Instructions

  1. Core and chop apples and pears.
  2. Blend maple syrup with cinnamon. Toss half of syrup mixture with chopped fruit and stir remaining into cottage cheese.
  3. Divide fruit between 2 breakfast bowls; top with cottage cheese mixture and garnish with pecans (if using).
  •  Add a slice of whole grain toast to round out your morning menu.
