Canada's top 100 employers 2010
We are very excited to share the news that Gay Lea Foods has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers 2010.
This prestigious list appears in the October 8 edition of Maclean's magazine and the October 9 issue of the Globe and Mail. We were also fortunate in being selected for a special profile in this newspaper, with President and CEO Andy MacGillivray being interviewed by a Globe and Mail reporter.Look for this article in the Globe and Mail.
This is not the first time that Gay Lea has been recognized as a top employer. This award comes after two consecutive years of our co-operative being named among the top GTA employers.
We are especially proud because this year was a record year for the number of applications that were submitted.
The selection criteria for these awards are based on physical workplace, work atmosphere and social, health,financial & family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.
