MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, September 10, 2024 – Gay Lea Foods, Ontario’s largest farmer-owned dairy co-operative, today announced plans to relocate its head office to 10 Carlson Court in northwest Toronto (Etobicoke) in summer 2025.
“Following years of strong growth, now is the right time to invest in a vibrant and flexible workspace that meets our team’s needs and promotes connection and collaboration,” said President and CEO, Suzanna Dalrymple. “We believe our new headquarters will help us retain and attract great talent, positioning Gay Lea Foods to maximize its benefit to the co-operative’s farmer-owners, shareholders, and our communities.”
The new 20,000 square foot space can accommodate more than 200 Gay Lea Foods employees, and includes a 3,000 square foot in-house event venue, cutting edge collaboration technology, and an open concept design.
The office design will include a modern farm aesthetic, large meeting spaces, and will help celebrate the co-operative’s more than 65-year history of creating beloved dairy products for Canadians.
For nearly two decades, Gay Lea Foods’ corporate head office has been located at 5200 Orbitor Drive in Mississauga, Ontario. The co-operative is in the early stages of evaluating plans for this location, which will remain Gay Lea Foods’ head office until the move is complete. Gay Lea Foods was proud to be named the Mississauga Board of Trade’s large business of the year in spring 2024.
10 Carlson Court is owned by Crown Realty Partners, an integrated investment and management firm that acquires, manages and develops commercial real estate assets in Canada. Tenants at this LEED Gold location benefit from a wi-fi enabled atrium, onsite café, conference facilities, and a free fitness centre.
